4 Ing. Jan Fischer

Prime Minister of the Czech Republic. Jan Fischer graduated from the University of Economics, in Prague in 1974 in statistics and econometrics. He completed his postgraduate studies at the University of Economics in 1985, earning his Candidate of Sciences degree in the field of economic statistics. After graduation, he joined the Federal Statistical Office. In 1990 he became its vice-chairman and held this position until the dissolution of Czechoslovakia. Since the beginning of the 1990s he has led the team handling results of parliamentary and local elections. He has also served as vice-chairman of the newly established Czech Statistical Office. In September 2000, he became Production Director of Taylor Nelson Sofres Factum. From March 2002 to April 2003 he worked as chief of research institutes at the Faculty of Informatics and Statistics at the University of Economics in Prague. He was appointed president of the Czech Statistical Office on 24 April 2003. In March 2009, Fischer was proposed to be the next Prime Minister. He constituted his Government on May 8th 2009.

Minister of Education. Mrs. Kopicová  graduated from Faculty of Arts University in adult education. Prior to 1989 she worked in the government - at the Federal Department of Labour and Social affairs and the National Commission for scientific and technical investment and development. From 1990, she was involved in the programs of cooperation with the EU in the field of employment, education and social policy. In 1994 she became the first director of the National Training Fund. Since 2007, she has been working with the National Strategic Reference Framework, and in February 2009 she was appointed minister of education.

22 Ing. Petr J. Kalas

Consultant to the Chairman of the Government. Mr. Kalas has served as Member of the Supervisory Board of CEZ since 2007. From September 2006 to January 2007, Mr. Kalas was Minister of the Environment of the Czech Republic. Since February 2007, he has been External Consultant to the Chairman of the Government of the Czech Republic and to the Minister of the Environment of the Czech Republic

The Danish Government has launched a comprehensive programme to help Danish companies to differentiate themselves against price-based competition and to increase user satisfaction and efficiency in public institutions.

Ambassador Ole E. Moesby

Ambassador of Denmark. Ole E. Moesby has been undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 2003, governor for Denmark at ADB since 2004, and was alternate governor for Denmark at ADB in 2003-2004. He is governor at the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and African Development Bank, and alternate governor at the Inter-American Development Bank. He started his career at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1987 as head of section in the Africa Department. He earned a master's degree in political science from University of Aarhus, Denmark, in 1982

2 Prof. Václav Havlíček

Rrector of the Czech Technical University. Professor Havlíček publications include numerous textbooks (including three written in English), articles, and patents. He has served on the Scientific Boards of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague, and Charles University. From 1997 to 2003 he served as vice rector for the development of the Czech Technical University in Prague.  February 1, 2006 – Professor Václav Havlíček was appointed rector of the Czech Technical University by the president of the Czech Republic, Václav Klaus, for a four-year period.  He has stated that his priority will be to support first-class research and teaching at the university, and links with leading universities, institutions and companies at home and abroad.

77 Ing. Daniela Vachova  

Head of the Technology Transfer Sectionat the Technology centre AS CR. Graduated from the Electrical faculty of the West Bohemian University. Mrs. Vachova works at the Technology centre AS CR as the head of the Technology Transfer Section and coordinator of the Enterprise Europe Network in the Czech Republic. For many years, she have been employed in top-managerial posts in engineering companies. She managed several EU projects supported within the EU Framework Programmes and was the manager of the Regional Innovation Strategy project for the Prague region.

8 Ing. Jaroslav Chaloupka, CSc. 

Executive head, director of BIC Brno.Mr. Jaroslav graduated  at the University of technology  in Brno as engineer and where he also obtained a scientific degree in industrial research  development and strategy. He has operated in the  electronic  industry in the management of the  academic research exploitation in the industry. His waste experience is used at BIC Brno in order to realize the  BIC  Brno participation in European Business and Innovation Centre Network. He has participated in the establishment of the  Science park Association as  member of the board. BIC Brno is one of the leading institutions in the innovative strategy development in the Czech Republic and its application in practise.

M.Sc Jørn Kristiansen

Jørn Kristiansen holds a Master’s of Science in Public Administration from Roskilde University, 1987. He lives in Denmark with his wife and five children, ages 2 to 18. For the past 20 years he has headed public and private companies within the consulting field, regional business development, the labor market area, innovation and entrepreneurship, and education. He has held teaching positions at the Copenhagen Business School, the Aars Business School and the Danish School of Public Administration in Copenhagen. He has also trained managers in Poland, Kaliningrad and Ukraine. He has been the OECD representative for the Danish government regarding legal regulation issues; he has also developed and managed more than 17 larger projects in Denmark and in other countries, half of which are EU projects.  Jørn Kristiansen has produced 18 publications and reports within various areas such as business policy; public-private collaboration in connection with public purchasing of goods and services; regulation and service development; activity management and financial management; modernization of universities’ strategic management; modernization of foodstuff control; regional perspective analyses; communication policy; rural district development; and regional and global innovation models

9MBA Jesper Jespersen

General manager in Novi A/S. Mr. Jesper Jespersen is M.Sc. from Aarhus Business School and holds MBA from Stanford University, Mr. Jespersen has had several leading post as managing director in the several Danish and international companies.  Since 1999 he has been general manager in Novi A/S which is a Venture, Research and innovation center in Aalborg. Besides the Managing position he is member of several company boards.

1Prof. Vladimir Marik

Head of Dept. of Cybernetics Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Czech Technical University (CTU) . Mr. Mařík has conducted research in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Knowledge-based Systems, Knowledge Engineering and Knowledge Management, Multi-Agent Systems, Pattern Recognition and been involved in several EU projects. Mr. Mařík is author articles in several international publications and author of a long row of books. The department of Cybernetics has successfully commercialised their research work and has sold its ideas to such companies as Bosch, Toyota, Rockwell, Honeywell, Boeing, Samsung, and also to the American army. Mr. Marik personality displays the top qualifications and managerial skills.

M.Sc. Peter Conrad Ottesen

Peter Conrad Ottesen is Chief Executive of the business incubator Katapult at university of Copenhagen.  He was entrepreneur already even when he wrote his master thesis , and in 2004 he started up his second company.  Both companies are funded by the innovation community. Peter Conrad Ottesen is responsible for the free, advice service to potential entrepreneurs and is for Kapults activities. 

Ing. Luboš Král, PhD. from CERTICON

55MA. Jesper Vej 

Founding Partner in Central European Center for Management Innovation, and Ass. professor at Copenhagen University College of Engineering Jesper Vej holds a .M.A.in foreign languages from Copenhagen business school. He teaches at Copenhagen Business School in international marketing and at Copenhagen University College of Engineering, latest he has been co designer on a groundbreaking bachelor education that integrates technological skill with applied innovative thinking.  Besides he is owner of the Danish consulting firm SEJPER1, Specialized in innovation and creativity.  He is author of the Book titled: „Ino.. hva‘ for noget“ and co-author of a New book on Management innovation . Jesper Vej is co founder of Central European Center for Management Innovation, Earlier he has held positions as IT–Consultant, Market Consultant, and Key Account Manager."

88PhDr. Evzen Zeman

Managing Director of DHI a.s. in the Czech Republic and Regional Director for CEE offices within the Danish owned DHI Group [Slovakia, Bulgaria, Poland, Romania]. With more than 30 years of experience Dr Evzen Zeman has become a prominent figure in hydro informatics, Flood Risk Management, Flood protection analyses, Decision Support System and master planning in urban areas as well as in the field of the implementation of the EU Water Framework Directive (WFD). Dr Zeman has functioned as facilitator in a number of NATO workshops supported by the NATO Science fund, which has contributed to the mutual exchange of water management strategies and know-how among EU member and non-member states and experts from the international community. Dr Zeman is a Member of the Joint Committee IAHR/IAW

Cand Scient Søren Jensen

Senior consultant in Center for Innovation Policy under the Danish Agency for Science, Technology and Innovation where his work areas are  Innovation Policy, the GTS network, the Innovation environments, ICT Programs of the EU's 7th Program and e-business and ICT-based innovation. Soren Jensen is educated as Cand. Scient pol.in Political Science at University of Copenhagen.Soren Jensen has previously worked as consultant in the Ministry of Science and as EU consultant at the Euro center

Mr. Paolo Zanenga

Worekshop host Paolo Zanengahas a long experience in applying to Business Management new concepts and approaches developed together with international networks of academies and companies. Presently his work is focused on the enterprise models evolution, taking into account the accrued role of knowledge, and the change on value perception. Paolo is founding partner of TWG (Third Wave Group), a consulting company with an experience including many strategic projects, either in international firms and in public institutions, and is president of PDMA (Product Development and Management Association) Southern Europe. He is author of several books and articles. His collaborations with academia include teaching on complexity of networks, networked enterprise models, and ecosystems.

M.Sc. Keld Harbo

Keld Harbo holds a master degree in strategic planning from the Copenhagen Business School. Mr. Harbo is associate professor at University of Southern Denmark where he teaches strategy and entrepreneurship. Previously he has developed export promotion packages for the Danish Export Council and has held top management positions in larger international corporations. Mr. Harbo has a long track record concerning strategic development of SMEs and is currently non-executive director of several medium-sized enterprises.

7Martina Jakl, PhD and lic.oec. HSG

Worekshop host  Director at Institute for Technology and Innovation Management at the University of Economics in Prague. The institute deals with issues such as innovation management, lean management or radical innovatio and aims at linking closer industry and academia. Besides she is a founding partner of the business development company SwissCzech Technology Transfer. Martina Jakl has her education from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland and the University of Economics, Prague in the area of business administration. Her research interests include technology transfer, commercialization, international business development and entrepreneurship

5M.Sc. Henrik Skov

Worekshop host Founding Partner in Central European Center for Management Innovation, Mr. Skov holds a M.Sc, in Marketing from Copenhagen Business School. He has occupied various possessions in Danish companies as Marketing manager, Marketing researcher, and financial advisor. He has worked as Business Consultant and Lecture at the Roskilde University. He was Co-designer and leader of the Master program in Experience Management at Roskilde University. As Business Consultant he has coached and developed courses for a wide range of firms and institutions. His main fields of interest are Innovation, HR development and Management Innovation. He is co founder of Central European Center for Management Innovation, and co- author on a new book about Management Innovation

Ing. Etienne Samoura, MBA

Ggraduated from the Czech Technical University in Prague, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, majoring in Economics and Management. He received the Master 2 M.A.E. degree after having completed a postgraduate course on Master Management et Administration des Entreprises at L’Institut Franco-Tchèque de Gestion, the University of Economics in Prague and Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3. Holds a certification of Agency of the Czech Republic for Business Development and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, for the issue of small and medium-sized enterprises and management consulting. In BIC CTU Prague, he has held the positions of a professional consultant, advisor for small and medium-sized enterprises; of the Head of Dept. of Transfer of Technology and Information - consultancy and project management, proposals of national and international projects. At present, he is the Acting Director of BIC CTU Prague.

Dr. Ing. Jaroslav KUBA, PhD., Vice-Rector for Science-Technological Park and Student Affairs / CTU

Since 2006 Mr. Kuba has been Vice-Rector of CTU for student affairs and marketing. For a number of years he has been engaged in pedagogic issues and student affairs. Besides his duty as vice rector Mr. Kuba Lectures in Thermodynamics and Statistical Physics (Physics for BA) the concept of Information Physics I, II and signal processing and data FJFI. So far, he has published about 75 scientific publications and presentations at conferences and a number of newspaper and magazine articles.
