Profile of the Center
Central European Center of Management Innovation CECMI is an organization engaging in as well nonprofit project as business projects. CECMI is a knowledge center with an applied approach, facilitating, implementing and accelerating Management Innovation to ensure the growth of the Central and Eastern European economies and companies located here. CECMI is devoted to conduct counseling, research, education, knowledge transfer and implementation of projects in the field of Management innovation in the academic and the commercial sphere.

The core organization conducts coordination, administration and sets up the strategic framework. Besides we have a number of affiliated partners who can contribute in specific areas of interest where they have competences – Final we draw on ad hoc corporation with various individuals and organizations about specific projects
Knowledge exchange
Among others CECMI is working/partner with Copenhagen Business School, Management Lab on London Business School and BIC at Prague Technical University as well as a number of companies. It is vital for us that the accumulated experience and knowledge are accumulated in a systematic way so synergies arise in order to build new improved management principles and practices in real life.
Core activities:
- Teaching and training
- Conduct, facilitate and coordinate basic and applied research and development of new management practices and business models.
- Support the implementation of the results of research and development.
- Knowledge transfer between the commercial and academic sphere as well within the Czech Republic as aboard
- Promotion of Management Innovation via Education, Articles, support to and participation in conferences, workshops and other similar event in the field of Management innovation.
- Promoting the Central Europe as an innovative Cluster in EU in order to attract potential partners for especially small and medium sized businesses

CECMI is working on an EU-application seeking support to transfer know-how from research to industrial capabilities through the Marie Curie Industry-Academica Partnerships and Pathways.
